Saudi RPM at Hajj

Saudi RPM, in close coordination with Saudi Red Crescent is augmenting the existing infrastructure and resources at the Grand Mosque in the Holy City of Makkah for the Hajj Pilgrimage 2025.

These include integrating the state-of-the-art technologies in the Holy City with world-class training of paramedics, mobilizing resources, expertise, and capabilities including ambulances and setting up clinics to help make the pilgrimage as safe and efficient as possible. Saudi RPM is working closely on the Saudi Railways (SAR) project, by setting up clinics across the key stations, ensuring that pilgrims have easy access to the best of pre-hospital care at any point during their pilgrimage.

In coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Health, the Royal Commission of Makkah City and Holy Sites, and Saudi Red Crescent, Saudi RPM is also deploying additional paramedic stations equipped with essential medical equipment, state-of-the-art ambulances and staffed by trained paramedics to handle urgent medical cases. Efficient triage systems in these units will prioritize and manage conditions such as heat stroke, exhaustion, dehydration, and respiratory issues. The training for the paramedics covered a number of health emergencies, including First Aid, CPR, Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Mass Casualty Incident Response, Heat Exhaustion, among others.
